Mary Oliver (MawMaw), 81 of Bristol, TX passed away peacefully on May 22, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Mary was born July 26, 1939 to Morris and Jewel Thompson in Waco. She married Royce Oliver, the love of her life, on May 2, 1958.
She is preceded in death by her husband Royce Oliver, parents, 9 siblings, daughters Brenda and Diana Oliver and son Royal Daniel Oliver.
She is survived by sister Vivian Shirley, daughter Lorna Caldwell and husband George, sons Philip and wife Brandi Oliver, Andrew and wife Kendall Oliver, and Gregory Oliver
Grandchildren: Skye and husband Terry Miller, Levi Gilmore, Cassie and husband Jason Henry Blake Oliver and girlfriend Chloe Cross, Tucker Oliver, Gracee Oliver, Khloee Curtis, Easton Oliver, Kaylynn Miller, Kasen Oliver, Aurora Oliver, Kyleigh McIntire and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
MawMaw was one of a kind. She made the best biscuits and preserves you could imagine. Everyone who knew her has had her biscuits. She loved dancing more than most. You could even catch her dancing in the kitchen with one of the family. She loved going to to Bristol Fire Department for any event but mostly to dance. She absolutely adored all that she called her kids and that went from her kids, to grandkids, to our friends kids, to all the Bristol kids. We all had a special place in her heart and she loved and lived for us all. She also looked forward to the Thompson Family reunion every year where you would find her making strawberry daiquiris that she was very well known for. She is the matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Motuary of Ennis with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Boone Cemetery of Franklin, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
