Michael Alan Salazar, 45, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Monday, November 27, 2023.

Michael was born in Ennis, Texas on January 31, 1978 to Ramon and Blasita (Alvarez) Salazar. He grew up in Ennis where he also attended school.

Michael was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He loved to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. His hobbies were artwork and tattooing. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis.

He is survived by his 2 children, Natalea Long and Raymond Salazar; father, Ramon Salazar; sisters: Stephanie Elizondo and husband, Gerardo, Denise Moreno, and Cecilia Carter and husband, Kendrick; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and sister.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. with Rosary at 4 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian burial will take place on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis. Pallbearers will be Efrain Estrada, Israel Abeja, Brian Gonzales, Eddie Ray Diaz, Chayan Salazar, Eric Ayala, Tony Ayala and Adam Reyes. Honorary pallbearers: Raymond Salazar and Corey Reyes. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
