My son Michael Allen Woodham was born on April 14, 1988, Thursday morning at 7:57 a.m., and weighed in at 7 lbs., and 19" long. He was literally covered with hair all over his little body. He was born with blue eyes but turned brown with specs of blue as he got older.

He was a happy child, who loved to smile and be a little ham bone. He was funny and loved to laugh. He loved music a lot and also gaming. He wasn't the best student in school, but he did graduate from Red Oak High School. He didn't have a lot of friends, but he was close to a few.

Michael lived with me off and on during his adult life as it was too expensive to live on his own, but he knew he would always have a home with me. Just like any other parent-child relationship we had clashes every now and them over silly things and sometimes about life things; but every single day he was with me there were always hugs, kisses and "I love you". It was a house rule after all. He loved his sister Roxanne, and they would always pick on each other as most brothers and sisters do but out of love. That was her baby too when he was born.

Michael also suffered from a condition called Adrenal Insufficiency Syndrome. His body didn't produce enough sodium on its own. It started when he was just 7 years old. I almost lost him then but by the grace of God he was saved; however, he was not properly diagnosed until he was 17. For 10 years we were in and out of hospitals and I would be there always with him. Needless to say, in those 10 years and beyond I was always on edge when he got sick even as an adult. I love my son more than anything and I never imagined losing him at just 36 years old, 10 days from being 37. I love you son and forever will be in my heart and soul. I know you're in a better place in the arms of Jesus because you were saved and accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. I miss you every day but mostly I miss our daily hugs. Save a spot for me my sweet baby boy. I will see you again one day. I love you forever Michael.

Michael is survived by his mother, Audy Woodham; his father, Gary Small; adopted father, Oliver Woodham; sister, Roxanne Wells; grandfather, Craig Harlan, and nephew, Austin Lee.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandmother, Josie Harlan and stepdad, Phil Beeler.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel - PALMER CHAPEL with Rev. Rodney Rickman officiating.
