Nancy Janelle Robinson, 74, of Palmer, TX, entered into heaven to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 29, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 26, 1949, in Ennis, Texas, to Bevis Odell and Geraldine Eloise (Holland) Calhoun. Nancy grew up in Ennis and attended Ennis High School. On December 30, 1967, she married the love of her life, William Everett Robinson, of Palmer, with whom she shared nearly 51 years of cherished companionship.

Nancy exemplified the essence of caregiving with a heart of service, extending her care not only to her immediate family but also in her professional roles. She dedicated over five years to the Ennis Daily News and served Palmer ISD for over 25 years as a supervisor.

Her infectious personality illuminated every room she entered, and she approached life with zest and joy. Nancy's unwavering faith was to be admired, as she wholeheartedly devoted herself to serving the Lord wherever she was needed. Whether nurturing her loved ones, crappie fishing with family, or cheering wholeheartedly from the bleachers for her boys and grandchildren, Nancy embraced each moment with love and enthusiasm.

Her resolute faith in a benevolent God provided solace and strength throughout her battle, inspiring all who knew her. In her final days, her family and friends rallied around her with the same unwavering support she had always shown them. Nancy leaves behind a profound legacy of love and faith that will be deeply missed by her devoted family.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Corey Robinson and his wife Amie, and Jeremy Robinson and his wife Cassi; her six grandchildren, Cameron Robinson, Baylor (Robinson) Serna, Carlee Fincher, Jeremy Douglas Robinson, Emerson Robinson, and Dayton Robinson; and her seven great-grandchildren, Blakely Fincher, Maggie Fincher, Cobi Fincher, Naomi Robinson, Dawson Robinson, Jace Robinson, and Everett Serna. She is also survived by her brother Reggie Calhoun, sisters Sandra Kinsler, Sharon Gooch, Debra Harrison, Dana Farris, and numerous other beloved family members and friends.

Preceding Nancy in death are her parents, husband Everett Robinson, son William Shawn Robinson, and brother Bevis O. "Butch" Calhoun, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 3 pm to 5 pm at the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer.

A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 10 am at the Fundamental Baptist Church of Palmer, officiated by Rev. James Smith. Pallbearers will include: Cameron Robinson, Jeremy Douglas Robinson, Dayton Robinson, Jacobi Fincher, and Derek Serna. Interment will follow at Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary Inc.
