Noel Joe Dover, 78, passed away in Corsicana, Texas on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Joe was born in Byrd, Texas on July 26, 1942 to Virgil and Viola (Worthy) Dover.  He grew up in Byrd and attended school in Byrd, Ennis and graduated from Corsicana High School.

Joe was a truck driver and drove for various companies including HEB.  Joe was a member of the Chambers Creek Masonic Lodge #499 for over48 years.  He enjoyed bird watching and working in his yard.

Joe is survived by daughters: Sandra Dover and Rachel Dover; granddaughter, Morgan Dover; great-grandchildren: Josephine and Jocelyn; niece, Kathy Dover and nephew, Jeff Dover along with a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Dover, his parents and brothers: Sammy, James Lee, Bill and wife, Jo Frankie and Dean.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating.  Interment will follow in Grady Cemetery of Byrd, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
