Pansy Clopton, 95, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Pansy was born in Bristol, Texas on October 5, 1925 to Johnson and Neva (Pritchett) Crawley.

Pansy grew up in Bristol and graduated from Ferris High School.  On May 21, 1942 she married Clarence Clopton and they made their home in Bristol.

Pansy worked for Verson All Steel for many years until her retirement.

Pansy is survived by her daughter, Pennye Birdwell and husband, Tim; grandchildren: Candon Birdwell and wife, Katrina, Jason Birdwell and wife Brittanie and Cole Birdwell; eight great-grandchildren; niece, Lezley Norris and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Clopton and sister, Neva Hillis.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
