Patricia Plasek Lekar, 83, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Patricia was born in Dallas, Texas on March 1, 1937 to Joseph and Louise (Kubin) Plasek.  She grew up in Dallas and graduated from St. Edwards High School.  On July 9, 1961 she married Eugene Lekar and they made their home in Ennis.

Patricia worked for over twenty years before retiring in 2007 from McGraw-Hill with accounting.  Patricia was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and K.J.Z.T.  She loved spending time with her family and traveling.

Patricia is survived by sons: Darren Lekar and David Lekar; daughter, Deborah Carpenter and husband, Steve; grandson, Kyle; sister, Mary Leonard long with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in St. Joseph Cemetery at 10 a.m. under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
