Patty Lou Watts was born December 17, 1934 in Ennis Texas. She was born early and tiny before the time of incubators, so her grandmother held her by the open oven to keep her warm. She was a fighter from the very start. She was the youngest child of Theodor and Mildred Farrar.

Patty met the love of her life when he visited his grandmother in Ennis one summer and they were married 49 years before cancer took him almost 21 years ago. She had one beloved son James "Kerry" Watts  and daughter in law, Melissa Watts of Granbury, Texas. The true light of her last years on the earth was her beloved granddaughter, Louella Grace Watts, who was partly named after Patty Lou.

Patty is preceded in death by her siblings: Lorraine Bourg of Hemphill, TX, Carolyne Howard of Houston, TX and Theodore Junior ("Sonny") of Stafford, TX.

To know Patty Watts was to love her. She had a deep love for Jesus and people and will be missed every day, but she is dancing with Jesus and the love of her life in Heaven.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
