Paula "Pauline" Garza Garcia, 87, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Pauline was born in Beeville, Texas, on June 22, 1936, to Frank and Paula (Gonzales) Garza. Pauline grew up in Corsicana, Texas. On September 5, 1954, she married Joe Angel Garcia and they made their home in Ennis.

Pauline worked as a seamstress for over twenty years for Stories Manufacturing. Pauline was a longtime member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church,  Catholic Daughters and was a former Den Mother and Cub Scout Leader. Paula enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening and watching scary movies. Family was the joy of Paula's life and spending time with the grandchildren always put a smile on her face. Holidays with family was one of Paula's favorite times.

Pauline is survived by a son, Frank Garcia and wife, Pam; daughters: Gloria Garcia and Debbie Carrillo and husband, Joe; eleven grandchildren: twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with a host of extended family and friends.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Garcia; brother, Richard Garza; sister, Josephine Villerreal; son, Joe Gilbert Garcia; grandson, Joe Richard Garcia and niece, Emma Valdez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Cory Carrillo, Jordan Carrillo, Frank Garcia Hejl, Alex Valdez, Ever Saucedo and Juan Robledo.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
