Paula Castillo Gonzalez, 60, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on September 11, 2020.  Paula was born in Puerta Del Rio, Mexico on March 10, 1960 to Nicolas and Andrea (Cazares) Castillo.  She grew up in Mexico until the age of 12 when they moved to Houston.  On September 20, 1984 she married Noe Gonzalez and they made their home in Katy, Brookshire, Patterson, Sealy and finally settled in Ennis in 1988.

She was an entrepreneur in real estate along with her initial business Paula's Hot Tamales.  Paula was a devout Jehovah's Witnesses.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Paula is survived by her husband, Noe Gonzalez; son, Emmanuel Gonzalez and wife, Ashley; daughter, Estrella Gonzalez and husband, Rene; step-son, Noe Gonzalez, Jr.; step-daughter, Maricela Rosales; mother, Andrea Castillo; thirteen grandchildren: brothers: Francisco Castillo and Eliseo Castillo; sisters: Dominga Castillo, Felipa Valadez, Ester Balderas, Laura Castillo and Erika Castillo and a host of extended family and friends.

Paula is preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Castillo and son, Miguel Gonzalez.

ZOOM services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 7 p.m. due to the Covid Virus.
