Paulette Jones Collins, born July 23, 1943 to Robert and Melba Jones, died June 7, 2023.  She married Jimmy Collins July 22, 1967.  Paulette is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Melba Jones, her sister Helen Morse, and her granddaughter Newbie Hadash.

Paulette is survived by her husband of 55 years Jim Collins of Ennis, her sister Dora Byrum of Comanche, her daughter Heather Hadash and husband Kyle Hadash, granddaughter Kayla Hadash, and grandson Aaron Hadash all of Conroe.  She is also survived by nieces Joy O'Rourke of Oklahoma, Terri Whittington & Meredith Barton of Ennis and nephews David Wright of Comanche, Gary Collins & Brad Collins of Ennis, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Paulette enjoyed reading Max Lucado, playing Bunco and 42, and tending her roses, but her greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, June 16th at J. E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis with the funeral immediately following at 2:00pm.  Interment will be at Myrtle Cemetery, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc., immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Tabernacle Baptist Church specifically for the building of a senior adult center or to the Ennis Retired Teachers book program.
