With great sadness and fond memories, we share that our beloved and brave Payton Chadwick Brown passed away unexpectedly at his home in Alma, Texas, on March 18th, 2026. Affectionately known to his family and friends as "P-MAN" and "TIN-TIN." Payton blessed our world, arriving on April 26,2012, at Willowbrook Hospital Cypress, Texas. Born 24 weeks, weighing one pound seven ounces, "P-MAN" was immediately Transported via "The KANGAROO Care Ambulance" to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICCU) at Texas Children's Hospital TCH Houston Texas, where Payton would spend the first 10 months of his life as a "warrior", battling long odds, while his Courageous Parents, and Family, provided the love and prayers from his bedside. Payton blessed his family and friends throughout his life, while enduring more than 50 operations performed by the great staffs of Texas Children's Hospital Houston, Dallas Children's Hospital and Scottish Rites Hospital Dallas Texas, Against all odds, "P-Man" fought courageously, always Happy, and smiling as he continued to grow, and learn. Payton remains a beacon of light, now and forever to all that met him. Payton loved his home at the "Farm" his Family had built. He loved to hear the cows as they seemed to call out to him whenever he was outside. He loved playing in the Pool with his Family and friends. He loved the rides at "Morgan's Wonderland San Antonio Texas", Visiting "Santa Claus", touring the many "Lights and sounds of Christmas", each of his Birthday Parties, (He was a Super Star as a "Special Minion Despicable Me"), but he especially loved the sound of his Families voices. "P-MAN" also loved going to the car races, with his family and friends. Often Pounding his chest with excitement, hearing the roar of the engines, while his Dad zoomed down the racetrack! P-Man could light up a room, always wanting to hold your hand, and get his arms around you, sharing his joy and love! He also loved taking a shower, often making certain that whoever was assisting took one too! "P-MAN" and his Family who, blessed by the care provided by the professionals and volunteers at the Hospitals, and those special souls providing the Home Health Care. The family expresses their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all, including Home Nurse's Dee-Dee Rios and Sabrina Gelina, Home Therapist Mrs. Vicki (OT), Mr. Hanibal (PT), Ms. Lareshea (STP), Mrs. Sabrina (AI), as well as Pediatrician Dr. Sackey. Payton's legacy is one of unwavering courage, boundless love, and genuine joy that touched every heart he encountered. His infectious laughter, gentle spirit, and determination to overcome life's challenges inspired all those around him. As we gather to honor his memory, we reflect on the remarkable impact Payton had on his family, friends, and community, cherishing the moments he spent sharing his light and warmth. Though his time with us was far too brief, Payton's presence remains alive in the hearts #FOREVER 13

Payton is survived by: Parents – Robert and Ashley Brown, Siblings –Taylor, Tyler, Tyana, Kayden and Andric, Grandparents – Grandpa Randy, Gram Tonya, Nana Tina and Pawpaw Gene, Uncle Chase and Aunt Clark Patten, Aunt Kristina, and Uncle Adrian (Snapper) Guillott. Uncle Dallas and Aunt Azul Looney, Aunt Megan and Josh Vittitow, Aunt Tatum Smith, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Mark Carrillo, Cousins – Taylor, Reagan, Madison, Kennedy, Tyler, Jaxon, Maci, Hope, Adam, Kitty, Jesse, Kali, and Isley. As well as his Faithful Furry companions Alfie. Payton's Viewing will be Tuesday March 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00PM, with a service on Wednesday, March 25 th , 2026, at 10:00 AM J.E.
