Peggy Joyce Munn, 91, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Peggy was born in Byrd, Texas, on May 9, 1933, to Cecil Elmer and Oleta Inez (Dent) Ware.

Peggy grew up in Byrd and graduated from Ennis High School.

Peggy worked for the Ennis Independent School District for over thirty-four years as an office administrator.

Peggy enjoyed reading, quilting, raising cows and collecting wildflowers. Peggy's family was the joy of her life, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her children: Kaye Deaton and her husband, David, Sharon Dale Glenn, Oleta Linson and her husband, Alan and Stacey Munn and his wife, Norma; grandchildren: Justin Glenn, Erin and Jason McCurdy, Joshua Munn, Chris and Mallorie Munn, Colly Deaton, Jared and Anna Munn, Michael and Laci Munn, Jonathan Deaton, Kyle and Katie Deaton and Benjamin Linson; great-grandchildren: Katey McCurdy, Brylea Munn, Kylie McCurdy, Lincoln Munn, Oliver Munn, Hunter Munn, Jace Munn, Mosely Munn, Logan Munn, Olivia Munn and Declan McCurdy; her sister, Bobbie Dale Ware Thornton and a host of extended family and friends. Peggy was also very close to all her nieces and nephews, especially Brock Stanford and Jeff Thornton.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Oleta Ware, her husband, Randall Lee Munn, sons: Randall Ware Munn and Jonathan Ervin Munn; sister, Zelda Bell Ware Stanford, brother -in-law, Earl Brock Stanford, and son-in-law, Randell Lee Glenn.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Bardwell Church of Christ with Chance Farmer officiating. The Pallbearers will be Justin Glenn, Josh Munn, Jason McCurdy, Chris Munn, Colly Deaton, Jared Munn, Michael Munn, Jonathan Deaton, Kyle Deaton, Benjamin Linson, David Deaton and Alan Linson. Internment will follow in Grady Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
