Phillip Wesley Bierhalter, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Phillip was born in Houston, Texas.  He grew up in Angleton, Texas, and after graduating High School he went on to further his education at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.  He graduated from Sam in 1966 with a degree in Business and  a minor in English.    While attending college he met the love of his life, Vicki  Kelley, who he married in 1966.  The same year Phillip began his working career for International Harvester Credit Corporation.  He worked for IHCC for 40 years before he retired.

Phillip and Vicki have two children, Kelli Lynn and Phillip Wesley (Lee) , Jr.   Phillip taught youth in Sunday School for many years and served as a Deacon for over 50 years in the churches the family attended. He is remembered for his strong faith, kind spirit, sense of humor, and for the love he had for his family.

Phillip is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Vicki, daughter Kelli Lynn Armstrong, Son, Lee Bierhalter, wife

Christie, Grandchildren, Hannah Butler, husband Tyler, Caleb Bierhalter, Alyssa Taylor, husband Jordan, Camden Bierhalter, and Karrah Armstrong.  And Great -Granddaughters  Olivia and Sophia Butler.

He is also survived by Brother-in-Law Sandy Kelley, wife Sandy, Brother-in-Law David McGilbery, Sister-in-Law Karen Sherrill, husband Brett, and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lucille and father Asbury Bierhalter, sister Nancy Beth McGilbery, Mother and Father-in-Law Tiny and Floyd Kelley,  Son-in-Law Jeff Armstrong and Sister-in-Law Becky Kelley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at Baylor Baptist Church  in Ennis, Texas on Saturday, October 25th at 10:00AM, Pastor Chet Hensley officiating.

Interment will follow at Turnersville Cemetery, 112 Co Rd 231, Gateville, Texas at 3:00PM on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.

Pallbearers:  Caleb Bierhalter, Camden Bierhalter, Josh McGilbery, Jared McGilbery, Jordan Taylor, and Tyler Butler.
