Richard Todd Kyser, 51, of Irving, TX passed away on November 14, 2021 at the Dallas VA Hospital.

Todd was born on October 20, 1970 in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1989 and later entered the Air Force and served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Group as a surgical technician. While in the Air Force he was awarded the Air Force Training Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the service he worked as a surgical technician at Zale Lipshy Hospital and later worked in medical sales and training at Aesculap.

He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his two nieces. His favorite things to do were to participate in fantasy football, which he was still doing just days before his death, barbecuing and being outdoors.

Todd is survived by his parents, Richard Pat and Pamela Kyser of Ennis, TX, his sister and brother in law and their children, Angie Kyser Gross, David Gross, and Danyell and Roxie Gross, and his long time companion Sophia Phommahaxay.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.  Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bristol / Union Hill Cemetery Association, 557 Union Hill Road, Ennis, TX 75119 or the VA Hospital , ( North Texas Health Care System ).
