We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Richard Lawrence Taylor who left us on May 1, 2025. We will cherish the countless memories shared with his family and friends.

Richard was born November 23, 1962, to Betty and Bob Taylor in El Paso, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.E. "Bob" Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Felicia; his children: Lance Taylor and Kyle Taylor; his step-children: Scott Caviness and Sarah Caviness; his grandchildren: Logan Taylor and Kingsley Taylor; step-grandchildren: Aidon Hammer and Grayson Hammer; his mother, Betty Lawrence Taylor; his siblings: Laure Clark (Charles), Bill Taylor (Jeri Lynn), and Dan Taylor (Leigha). Richard leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Myrtle Cemetery, 1032 W. Knox Street, Ennis, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
