Robert Earl Davis Jr. "Bubba" was born on July 24, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to Robert E Davis Sr. and Barna Jean Davis. He went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2023 at his residence in Ferris, Texas. Bubba as we all know and loved him, grew up in Lancaster, Tx.

Robert was the oldest of 4 children, all boys. He loved to spend time with family and friends and he loved to make phone calls just to talk and say I love you. Robert would tell anyone he met about Jesus and rejoice in the songs praising the Lord. From the young age of 5 he would help his mother with chores around the house and watch his younger brothers. He loved to play football and to learn about leadership as he grew up as a teenager. Most of the family also lived close to each other in the Lancaster area and would gather at their Grand-mothers Underwood's house for many birthdays, holidays, and Sunday Meals. Having multiple Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends near-by led to many memories growing up of playing football, fixing cars, and going to Church together. Robert decided his path in life was to be a servant. He served as his mothers caretaker, always serving food to others when visiting his home, and brother's companion and best friend. He chose to stay at home and help his parents as a young adult. Choosing to follow God's lead he served to his last b

Robert is survived by 3 brothers: William E Davis and wife Kim, Tony R Davis and wife Sheri, and Travis Davis. His Step-dad Dennis Davis,1 Great Aunt: Wanda Jean Jones, 5- Aunts: Kaye Stinson, Lavada Underwood, Daina Worley, Gloria Parkman and husband George Parkman and Peggy Nulish along with Uncle Freddy, 2 nieces Chelsee and Chasity Davis and 3 nephews Josh Davis and wife Harley, Dalton Dobson and Collin and Stormi Campmbell. 2 great nieces Kinsley Davis and Emersyn Campbell and 2 great nephews Judah and Carson Davis along with multiple cousins.

He was preceded in death by both parents, multiple grandparents, Aunts, Uncles ,and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Chapel in Ennis. Interment will follow at Laurel Land in Dallas under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
