Robert Joseph Pruitt, 39, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. He was born in Corsicana, Texas, on September 2, 1982, to Donald Wayne Pruitt and Catherine Zmolik Pruitt.

At the time of his death, he was employed by ABC Wrecker Service in Fort Worth.

He enjoyed watching movies, messing with his cars, and his dogs. He liked country music and alternative music.

Loved his children dearly, also enjoyed swimming.

He is survived by his sons: Christopher Joseph Pruitt and Donavan Wayne Pruitt; daughter, Chloe Marie Pruitt and his bonus kid, Armando "A.J."; and the mother of his children, Felisa Mendez; his mother, Cathy Pruitt; sisters: Christy Jackson and Tiffany Pruitt; stepbrothers: Billy Slade and Joey Slade; nephews: Devin Pruitt and Dillon Pruitt; niece, Chelcee Jackson; great-nieces: Charlee "Char Char" Deal, Callee "K aylee J." Deal, Paisley Pruitt; great-nephews: Michael "Mike Mike" Deal and Jaxson " Jax Jax" Deal.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, L.B. and Mary Pruitt, Walter and Wilma Zmolik, father, Donald Pruitt and sister, Misty Ann Pruitt

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Erick Mendez, Miguel Mendez, Jeremy Dyson , Mark Russelburg and Porfirio Mendez, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers Michael D. Sibley, Devin Pruitt and Dillon Pruitt. Interment will follow in Crisp Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
