Robert Gene Ramirez, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at the age of 80, surrounded by his family in his home in Rice, Texas. Born on December 19, 1943, in Beatrice, Nebraska, Robert was the son of Georgia Davis and Roberto Ramirez.

Robert's life was marked by a spirit of adventure and service. At the age of 16, he enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country for three years, including a stint in Germany. After his military service, Robert pursued a career in catering, a profession he dedicated himself to for over three decades. Known for his warm personality and genuine interest in others, Robert loved engaging in conversations and making new friends wherever he went. His kindness and generosity touched many lives, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

On September 5, 1992, Robert married the love of his life, Bridget Ramirez, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. His greatest joy in life was his family, whom he cherished with all his heart. He was affectionately called "My Love," "Dad," and his favorite, "PaPa," by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Davis, and her husband, Bill Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Bridget Ramirez, his four sons and their wives: Robert and Vicki Ramirez, Mark Ramirez, Robbie and Katrinia Ramirez, and Christopher Ramirez, his two daughters and their husbands: Karen and Michael Henley, Nikki and Joey Zalkovsky, as well as his grandchildren: Robert Ramirez- Rian, Katrina Ramirez, Roger Quinn- Cheyanne, Zachary Ramirez- Katie, Clint and Brayden Henley, Madison and Kennedy Zalkovsky, and great-grandchildren: Jacob and Lucas Ramirez, Diamond and Isaac Ramirez, Clayton and Hadley Dandridge, Emmitt and Emma Howell, and Olivia Ramirez, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering love for his family, and his dedication to serving others. His legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Sunday, June 30th, 2024, at 3pm. at Primera Baptist Church 118 Kaufman St Waxahachie, Tx 75165. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church in honor of Robert's lifelong commitment to helping others.
