Robert C. Stockton, 89, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.

Robert was born in Dallas, Texas, on October 22, 1934, to Roy H. and Edith (Robertson) Stockton. Robert grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1954. On July 1, 1955, Robert Married Lucy Morales and he had lived in in Arkansas, Garland and they have lived in Ennis for many years.

Robert was a partner in Garment Business for fifteen years was the owner of Stockton Welding for thirty-five years and worked for Beckley Farms for fifteen years. Robert was a member of the Church of Christ on Country Club Road. Robert had a true gift for music and loved entertaining others with his gifts.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lucy of sixty-nine years, sons: Brian Stockton and wife, Brenda and Barry Stockton and wife, Janet; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Burt Stockton.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Church of Christ on Country Club Road with Bob Beckley officiating. Pallbearers will be Nathan Stockton, Clayton Stockton, Chad Stockton, Trent Morales, Clint Morales and Troy Morales. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
