In Loving Memory of Robert Wesley Thompson
Robert Thompson, 42, lived life in a way that was uniquely his own. His time here was far too short, but he leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and stories that will be shared for generations.
Robert was a hardworking man who believed in putting in the effort and doing things his way. He was stubborn, sometimes to a fault, but that was simply part of who he was. He had a sense of humor that could make people laugh, a personality that was impossible to forget, and a spirit that never quite fit inside the lines.
He loved his big, loud truck, traveling across the country, and the freedom of the open road. He enjoyed seeing new places, making memories, and living life one adventure at a time. And when the opportunity came to turn up the music and hit the dance floor, Robert was more than happy to show off a few moves. He loved dancing and enjoying the moments that made life fun.
His greatest pride and joy, however, was his children. No matter how old they grew, Lane and Kylie would always be his babies. His love for them was something that could never be measured, and they will forever carry a piece of him with them.
Robert’s life was not measured by how many years he was given, but by the memories he made, the people he touched, and the love he leaves behind. At only 42, his passing leaves a hole in the hearts of those who loved him that can never truly be filled.
We can picture Robert now, cruising down an endless highway in his big, loud truck, music turned up, dancing whenever the mood strikes, and probably still being just as stubborn as ever.
Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Forever loved, forever missed, and always riding along in the hearts of those who love him.
He is survived by his mother, Ginger Bullington; children, Lane and Kylie Thompson; sisters, Kelly Ray, Elyse Hunt, and Shelley Mesloh; and brother, Joseph Thompson. Along with a grandson, Ryder, and numerous nieces and nephews.
