Ronald George Runyon, 82 years old, passed away peacefully in his home in Bristol, Texas on Sunday, February 26, 2023, with his wife Mary Grace and his daughter Heidi by his side.

Ronald was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 22, 1940 to Farris and Ilene Coleman Runyon. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan and went to school there.

He served his country proudly as a marine for the US Marine Corps. He then worked as a shipping manager for Precision Air and Cody Company in Ennis, Texas.

On June 8, 2020, he married Mary Grace Icuspit and the two of them made their home in Bristol.

Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taxidermy. He spent hours on his tractor. He loved watching TV, especially cowboy movies. He was hardworking and cared different animals.

Ronald is survived by his wife Mary Grace Icuspit, his daughter Heidi Cox and her husband Chris Cox, his sisters Theresa Marks, Debbie Burk and her husband James Burk, his eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Farris and Ilene, his brothers Dwight Runyon, Leon Runyon, David Runyon, and Luther Bolley, his son Ronald George Runyon, Jr., and his daughter Desiree Towne.

Memorial Services will be held at Bristol Baptist Church, 308 Union Hill Rd., Ennis TX 75119, United States on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 in the morning. With Pastor David Futral officiating,
