Roy Dean Luksa, 94, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at her home in Ennis, Texas.

Roy Dean was born November 2, 1926 in Houston the daughter of W. L. Hutchison and Bonzie B. (Wallace) Hutchison.

Mrs. Luksa earned her LVN while attending Navarro Junior College with a specialization in Pharmacology in 1964.  She retired from Baylor University Medical Center in Ennis after more than 30 years.  She continued to serve her community after retirement working as a LVN at The Medical Arts Center in Ennis.

On October 21, 1947 she married Johnnie L. Luksa.  After they married they lived in Ennis, Texas.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, The Golden Circle Activity Center, and Meals on Wheels North Central Texas.

Mrs. Luksa is survived by two sons and their wives: Gary and Susan Luksa and Wayne and Julie Luksa, all of Ennis; a brother and his wife, Clifford and Bobbie Hutchison of Arlington; three grandchildren: Leslie Luksa Guerrero, Kelly Luksa-Ruiz, and John Luksa; four great grandchildren: Jennifer Marvin, Nathanial Dean Ramirez, Kelsei Luksa, and Natalie Guerrero.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Johnnie.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 P.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery with Dr. Bill Lee officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
