Sandra Lynn (Trahan) Taylor was born on November 9, 1950 in Jennings, Louisiana to Bobbie Jean (Ray) and Jimmie Trahan. In June of 1955 the family moved to Ennis, Texas where Sandra still resided at the time of her death on December 26, 2022 passing away suddenly at Methodist Hospital in Mansfield, Texas.

She attended Ennis public schools graduating with the Ennis High School class of 1969 at which time she began working at Trinity Universal Insurance in Dallas, Texas for the majority of her work career. She retired in October 2015 after which she spent time doing what she loved most, playing Bingo, trips to the casino in Shreveport and Oklahoma and playing her online games Pearl's Perils and June's Journey where she was loved by many online friends. Garage sales and thrift store shopping were other favorite pastimes. She lived a simple life but lived it to the fullest; always bringing joy and good times to those she shared her life with.

Sandra was preceded in death by both of her parents and is survived by her son; Jeffery Alan Taylor and her two sisters; Carolyn Schlebach and Janice McAda and her husband Gene, all of Ennis Texas as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her absence in the bingo halls around Ennis, Rice and the Cedar Creek areas will also be felt by her bingo "buddies" Anna Tanner, Vicki Ballard and Norma Wesley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in her memory to the charity of your choice.

Service arrangements will be with JE Keever Mortuary; 408 N Dallas St; Ennis Texas. Visitation will be on Monday; January 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm with her funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm. Serving as pallbearers: Les Rose, R.J. Mahone, Tim Lawrence, Jimmy Spurgeon, Russell Rose, and Barry Beeson. Interment will be at Myrtle Cemetery also in Ennis. A family and friends meal will be served at the American Legion Hall located at 706 Rumbo Road; Ennis following the services.
