Shannon Joy Solomon , 47, passed away peacefully at her home in Ennis, Tx on Monday April 15th, 2024. Shannon was born in The Village of Bethpage, New York on July 27th, 1976 to Susan Rose Towstick and Thomas William Towstick, later raised by her Mother Susan and her late Father Charles Alger Jr.

Shannon married into the US Navy to Jason S Solomon on Feb 10, 2001, and they raised 3 beautiful children together. Shannon was a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment, a music lover, and mom to many dogs and cats over the years. Shannon was a "collector of broken souls" and always could see the good in everyone. Shannon always said she "might have been born in New York, but she was a Texan by heart".

Shannon is survived by her 3 children Erik Alger (25), Ryan Solomon (21) and Kira Solomon (18). Her husband Jason Solomon, her Brother Jason Towstick, and her Mother Susan Alger. Her 2 dogs Miesha Jane and Charlie Nixx, and by her 2 cats Willow White and Moleigh Molina.

Preceded in death by her father Charles Alger Jr., her Father-in-Law Robert Solomon, her Aunt Diane McIver, her Maternal Grandmother Dorothy "Batmoma" Mazzapica, her Grandmother Dorothy Alger, Shannon's dog Nieko Zayne and her 3 cats Reece Ann, Aysia Lynn and Salem.
