Susan Pritchett, 67, passed away after a short battle with cancer, on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Susan was born in Ennis, Texas on June 4, 1955, to T. J. and Juanita (Fretwell) Pritchett. Susan grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1973. Susan went on to receive a degree in Home Economics from Stephen F. Austin University.

Susan worked for ten years as an office manager for Firestone Tire Company and for Universal Glass for eighteen years also as an office manager until her retirement in 2021. Susan enjoyed traveling, baking, reading, antiques, quilting and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Susan is survived by companion, Ronald Gaskey; sisters: Pamela Cave and Anita Madison and husband, Steve; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, brother, L.B. Colston and nephew, Steven Fogg.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Interment will follow in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
