Sylvia Treviño

October 11, 1960 – January 12, 2026

Sylvia Treviño, born on October 11, 1960, to Angelita Treviño Ramirez, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 12, 2026.

Sylvia was raised in Ennis, Texas, alongside her eight siblings, where she built lifelong memories rooted in family, love, and community. On July 1, 1990, she married Presciliano "Preston" Rodriguez, and together they shared many years of devotion and partnership.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Adriana Banda and husband Mike; Ezekiel T. Martinez; Elijah Castillo and wife Chana; and Ezra Rodriguez and wife Ashley.

Sylvia was a proud and devoted grandmother to her eleven beloved grandchildren: Sebastian, Christopher, Christian, Stephen, Ezabella, Elaina, Ethan, Aria, Amaya, Hadassah, and Layla, who brought immense joy to her life.

She is also survived by her seven siblings: Greg Suarez, Edward Suarez, Joe Suarez, Irma Campos, Veronica Treviño, Manuel Ramirez, and Mary Palacios, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia had a deep love for spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed dancing. She was known for her warm smile, joyful spirit, and her ability to live life to the fullest. Her laughter and presence could light up any room.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Presciliano Rodriguez; her mother, Angelita Treviño Ramirez; and her brother, Juan Suarez.

Sylvia Treviño will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Sylvia's life will take place Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis.
