Terry Lynn Knight of Ennis, Texas passed away at 60 years old on June 3, 2024.

Terry was born February 13th, 1964 to Claud Knight Jr. and Martha Jane Knight.

Terry was a simple, hard-working man. He loved his kids and all his family. Terry was always willing to help others, whether it was day or night. He would sacrifice where he could to help others even if they were strangers. In the little downtime he had between work and helping other people he enjoyed relaxing and watching old westerns, and writing his own poetry. Terry was a God-fearing man who instilled in His children the importance of prioritizing the Lord in their lives. His favorite scripture was Proverbs 3: 5&6 "Trust in The Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths."

Terry is preceded in death by his father Claud Knight Jr., grandparents Arthur and Iva Lee Tobias, and Beatrice Ingle Knight, and his sister-in-law Subrina Joe Knight.

Terry is survived by his mother Martha Jane Knight, his children Jordan Knight and his spouse Garrett Knight, Jeremy Knight and his spouse Ashley Knight, Maegan Anderson and her spouse Jasenio Anderson, Stormy Knight, and Summer Knight, his grandchildren Cooper, Meredith, Hazel, and Noah, his siblings Cathy Knight Crawley, Dee Knight, Roger Knight, John Paul Knight, Lance Knight, and Vance Knight. He had 15 nieces and nephews and a large number of great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held at the J. E. Keever Chapel in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, with Visitation beginning at Noon and the Service beginning at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

Pallbearers will be: Dee Knight, Roger Knight, John Paul Knight, Lance Knight, Vance Knight, and Jeremy Knight
