Theresa Elizabeth Henry of Ennis, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Theresa was born August 17, 1949 to Billy Joe and Jeaneta Elizabeth (Isom) Morris.

She is survived by her mother, Jeaneta Elizabeth (Isom) Morris, son Chris A. Henry, sister Patricia "Patty" and husband Eddie Langer and brother Billy Joe "Joey" Morris Jr and wife Tammy along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Theresa is preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Morris.

Theresa grew up in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1967. She held degrees from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and Northern ArizonaUniversity in Arizona.

During her life, Theresa was a social worker, high school teacher and counselor. The last 23 years of her career were spent on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona as a teacher, counselor and librarian. In 2006, after suffering a stroke, she was brought home to Texas to be with family. Her most cherished role was as a mother to her son Chris.

Theresa enjoyed reading, social media, watching old movies and doing puzzles.

Theresa's memorial service will be on Saturday, February 27th at 2 p.m. at J.E. Keever Mortuary chapel in Ennis, Texas. Pastor James Patterson will officiate the service under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
