Thomas "Tommy" E. Griffin, II, 50, passed away in Ft. Worth, Texas on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Tommy was born in Ennis, Texas to Thomas Elton, Sr. and Barbara (Thomas) Griffin on April 14, 1970.  Tommy grew up in Ennis and Arlington graduating from James Martin High School in 1988.  Tommy went on to TCU to obtain his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing receiving his RN.

Tommy worked for Texas Health Harris Methodist for seven years as an RN.  He was a member of Rush Creek Baptist Church.  He enjoyed all sports especially football and enjoyed playing golf.

Tommy is survived by daughter, Jillian Grace Griffin; her mother, Kara Griffin; his parents: Douglas and Barbara Stevens; brother, Ernie Cote; sisters: Angie Griffin and spouse, Kat, Tina White and husband, John, Monica Elliott and husband, Jimmy and Tami Bancroft and husband, Howard; nieces: Natalie White, Brenna White and Ryleigh Griffin along with a host of extended family, friends and co-workers.

He is preceded in death by his father, a sister, Lisa Annette Griffin, niece, Kinley Griffin and grandparents: Tommy T. and Ruby Mae Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Zack Wright officiating.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
