Thomas Neal Kirkpatrick, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in Ennis, Texas.

Thomas was born in Longview, Texas, on January 27, 1937, to Claude and Melba Elva (Jones) Kirkpatrick. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1955. On April 27, 1957, he married the love of his life Patricia Carol Gregg and they made their home in Dallas before moving to Mesquite in 1960 and to Palmer in 2004.

Thomas was the owner of Mega Graphics and Kirk Printing for forty years. Thomas was a member of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Boy Scouts Circle 10 Council and Troop Leader. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting and playing golf. Thomas had been an announcer for Hot Air Ballon festivals and Red Oak ISD Special Olympics. Thomas had been the announcer for North Mesquite Big Blue Band and was known as "The Voice of the Big Blue."

Thomas is survived by his son, Michael "Gregg" Kirkpatrick and wife, Cindy; daughter, Cheryl Williams and husband, Mark; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia "Patsey" Kirkpatrick; son, Neal Kirkpatrick and brother, Mickey Kirkpatrick.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Palmer with Rev. Gary Southard officiating.
