Thomas (Tommy) Vaden Clark of Ennis, TX passed away on October 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Tommy was born on December 26, 1947, to E.V. and Betty Clark. He grew up in Ennis and later married Anita Clary on August 1, 1969. He was a devoted husband for 56 years and was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Tommy was a dedicated teacher and coach for 33 years, and is still known as Coach Clark to many in the community. He also served as a park ranger for the Army Corp of Engineers at Lake Bardwell. He enjoyed watching sports, playing with his grandkids, singing in church, and was an avid Ennis Lions fan.

Tommy was a strong man of faith who will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and his positive outlook on life.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Anita, his three children: Brent and his wife Amy, Beth Clark, and Brian Clark; his grandchildren: Jacobi and her husband Greg, Ty, Nathan, Katherine, Molly, Elli, and Janie; his great-grandchildren, Quinn and Grayson; his siblings: Betty Ann and her husband Dean, Richard and his wife Connie, Joe Allen and his wife Lorraine, Carolyn, Janice, and Cathy and her husband James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nancy Cooper, and a grandson, Caleb Clark.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who visited, called, texted, and prayed for Tommy and the family.

VISITATION will be Sunday, October 19 from 3:00-5:00 at Keever Funeral Home in Ennis.

FUNERAL services will be held Monday, October 20 at 2:00 at First Baptist Church in Palmer, TX. Pallbearers are Ronnie Caldwell, Rodney Caldwell, Darrell Roscoe, Doug Maynard, Billy Conn, Jeff Mann, Paul Burns, and Joe Gerich.

INTERMENT will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
