Verlon Lucille Seaboalt, 79, passed away in Tyler, Texas on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

She was born in Corsicana, Texas on January 5, 1942, to Albert G. and Lucille Cassels Rutherford.  The family moved to Ennis and Verlon graduated with honors from Ennis High School in 1960. She worked in various fields in accounting services.

Verlon and her soulmate, Charles Seaboalt were married on September 1, 1961 and spent over fifty years together until Charles' passing on November 2, 2011. They were blessed with a son and a daughter. After retiring they relocated to Mineola, Texas. After Charles' passing Verlon moved to Lindale to be closer to her beloved grandchildren. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of the First Christian of Paris, Texas.

After retiring from the workforce, Verlon became a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was passionate about this endeavor and love for those in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Charles Joel Seaboalt; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Houston Ramsey; grandchildren: Vanessa Smith, Alyssa Ramsey and Jacob Ramsey; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Susan Rutherford, sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Lee Vrzalik. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Judie Rutherford and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held January 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Ennis Chapel.

A private family service will be held in Elm Branch Cemetery.
