Vivian Ray Green, 83, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Vivian was born on November 25, 1939, to Ray and Golda Mae Archer. Vivian married Ottis Green and they made their home first in Linden, Texas, then Ferris, Texas and finally Bristol, Texas. Vivian loved her family and was proud of them all.

Vivian was a member of Bristol Baptist Church. Vivian loved her family and cooking.

Vivian is survived by her sons: Dennis Green and wife, Melinda, Ottis R. Green and wife Tina, Ricky Green, and Ed Green and wife, Sharla; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Nathan Archer and wife, Nancy Archer and a host of extended family and friends.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Golda Archer, husband, O.T. Green, daughter and son-in-law, Angela Bruce and Raymond W. Bruce, Jr. grandson, Ottis R. "Spud" Green, Jr., sister, Jeannette, and brother, Larry Archer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Bristol Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ryan Green, Clifton Green, Trenton Green, James Green, Michael Green, Colby Green, Pete Broyles and Chad Zurovec, honorary pallbearer, Raymond Bruce. Interment will follow in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
