Wade "The Colonel" Shaw, 48, of Streetman, Texas passed away March 26,2026.

Wade was born June 25, 1977 in Dallas Texas to David and Carol Shaw.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. Wade was known for his passion as an auctioneer, as he started his life-long career at only 16. Growing up at the horse sales, buying and selling cars Wade loved to collect bits & spurs.

Wade is survived by his loving wife Raye Etta; Daughter Shelby and Ketch; Mother Carol; his brother, Quint Nance and the son he never had, Shane Davis; Granddaughters: Blakelyn, Kodi and Kora along with his auctioneer friends & family.

Wade is preceded in death by his father, David Shaw, Grandmother Dorthy and Uncle Butch.

Pallbearers will be: James Grant, Clint Minchew, James Johnson, Pat Murphy, Shane Lane, Jeff Smith, Richard McGowan, Don Edwards.

Honorary Pallbearers: Bob Franke, Shawn Holden, Ben Davis, Cody Shelley., Scottie Roberts, Shane Davis, Roman Morgan and Harold Brown

VISITATION will be on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

A CELEBRATION OF WADE's LIFE will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the SOKOL Hall in Ennis with Steve Friskup officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude's Research Hospital.
