Wanda Wheelis Lewis, aged 91, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025.

She was a proud resident of Ennis, Texas and was a graduate of Cord High School in Cord, Arkansas. Wanda married Howard Lewis and they were blessed with three children: David, Deborah and Bruce. Her greatest passion was her family; especially watching her grandchildren participate in sports, dancing and other activities.

She is survived by her younger brother, William Wheelis of Manawa, Wisconsin; sons: David Lewis of Ennis, Texas, and Bruce and Katherine Lewis of San Antonio, Texas, as well as grandchildren: Kim Chapman of Corsicana, Texas, Mark and Joslyn Eaton of Telico, Texas, Brian and Jennifer Eaton of Garrett, Texas, Nia Ellis of Milan, Illinois, Justin Lewis and Franziska Bell of Deerfield, Michigan, Anna and Brian Liegel of Cooper City, Florida, Kate and Dennis Caramante of West Orange, New Jersey, and Sara and Jacob Schachner of Denver, Colorado; thirteen Great Grandchildren; and six Great Great Grandchildren.

Wanda is preceded in death by: Husband Howard Lewis; Parents: William & Elta Wheelis; Daughter, Deborah Boyle; Daughter-in-law, Carolyn Lewis; Granddaughter Devin Boyle; Sister-in-law Linda Wheelis, and four sisters.
