Wayne Langham, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Ennis, Texas surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born in Caldwell, Texas on September 9, 1947, to Sam and Nell Langham.

Wayne married Sarah on March 9, 1970. They were married for 53 years.  He was drafted by the United State Army. Wayne was saved and baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church.  He worked for Kaufman Locker Plant as a state meat inspector for over 40 years.  Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, and raising cattle.  He had the privilege of coaching his two daughters and many others in softball.

Wayne is survived by his daughters;  Nancy Pate, Jana Batson and husband Troy; granddaughter; Lana Dodson and husband Dylan; great grandson Rovin Dodson; and sister Shirley Urquhart.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Sarah Hildebrand Langham. His parents Sam and Nell Langham. A sister Dorothy Phillips and brother Johnny Langham.  A uncle and aunt Ole and Edith Langham.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Liberty Cemetery of Caldwell, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
