Wayne Turner, surrounded by his loving family, passed away at his home in Ennis, Texas on Monday, April 26, 2021. Wayne was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on March 2, 1943 to O.C. Turner and Sadie Jones Turner. Wayne graduated from Wilson High School in 1962 where he then went on to study electrical engineering at OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and then went onto the University of Missouri where he earned a Master's Degree in electrical engineering. Wayne married the love of his life, Sandra Taylor, on September 17, 1989. He was the owner of Dataverus, which he founded in 1996. Wayne and his wife, Sandra, were members of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Wayne also was a member of the Ennis Noon Lions Club. In his free time, Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, working on computers, and restoring old cars. Wayne Turner is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Turner, his sons Kevin Turner and wife Shana, Stephen Turner and wife BJ, daughters Dana Collins and husband Robert, and Kerri Norton and husband Tim, his sister Carol Bales, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The visitation service for Wayne will be held at J.E. Keever Mortuary Inc. in Ennis, TX from 1 pm until service time on Friday, April 30, 2021. Services will begin at 2 pm in the J.E. Keever Mortuary chapel in Ennis with Rev. Bob Thomas officiating.
