William Ralph Cote Jr., affectionately known as "Bill"; "Pops"; "Uncle Bill"; "Peanut/Nut".

He peacefully went to join his Heavenly family on August 18, 2022.

He was born August 27, 1940 in Melville, LA. to William Ralph Cote Sr. and Ida Narcisse Nichols.

He was a Navy man, 1957-1967. He retired as Chief Petty Officer RM1. He was always proud of his time in the Navy. While serving he got certified in Computer Programming and Systems, as well as, Data Processing. This training took him and his family to South Carolina after his retirement from the Navy.

He later relocated to Texas where he owned his own ATM business. Texas is where he met his present wife of 35 Years. During this time they purchased land at their present location in Ennis Tx, with the intent of rescuing dogs and horses. While in Ennis He joined the American Legion Unit 361. He and his wife enjoyed dancing at the legion with their friends whom he considered to be family.

He was preceeded in death by his Grandparents: Arthur C. Nichols and Ida Kimble; his Parents: William R Cote Sr and Ida N. Nichols; his sisters: Rosemary "Rosie" Cote Roubique and Margarette "Maggie" Isabella Cote Latiolais; his "buddy"/Nephew Jimmy Darrell Courville; his first wife and son: Shelby Brinkley and William Ralph Cote III.

He is survived by his wife: Susan D Cote; his Daughter and two granddaughters: Shirl Larios, Brittney and Brianna Ferguson; his step mother Pam Cote and two half siblings Michelle Cote and Will Cote; two Step daughters; Pam and Stephanie; his horse: "Peaches" and his dogs: "PeeWee", "Tony and Tyler" Plus a whole host of Nieces/Nephews and Cousins.

He was loved and appreciated by many Family, Friends and Neighbors. He was known to lend a helping hand and Barter to the benefit of others. He was a kind and generous man with a BIG heart. He was a John Wayne fan and loved to watch the old Western TV shows and Movies.
