Bill was born in Pennsylvania on January 18, 1941 to Spurgeon and Mary (Goodling) Fullerton.  Bill grew up in Red Lion, PA and graduated from Red Lion High School in 1957.  He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1958 and served for 6 years, including tours in Lebanon and the Cuban Missile Crisis.  Along the way in California, he met the love of his life, Monna Rhea Wilkerson.  They were married in 1966, and raised three sons in Oklahoma and then Texas: David Anderson, Matthew Fullerton and Patrick Fullerton.  Bill worked for the Comanche County Oklahoma Sheriff Department for six years, for Henry Industries for twenty years as a cabinet maker, for Fullerton Used Cars that he owned for ten years and for Lundy Industries for ten years doing cabinet making.  He lived happily with Monna Rhea in Duncanville, until she died in 2013.  He later moved to Ennis to be closer to his sons.  Although he beat stomach cancer once in 2016, he lost a second battle to lung cancer.  But before then, he was able to make a new home in his apartment on Preston Street.  He loved to sit out front with his American Flags and greet all who drove by.  He loved to ride on his scooter, and be independent again.

Bill leaves behind his loving family including sons: David Anderson and wife, Lori, Matthew Fullerton and Patrick Fullerton and wife, Daphne; grandchildren: Christopher, Charlotte, Samuel and Roy; great-grandchild: Haven Monna-Rhea; sisters: Bonnie Fullerton and Sally Fullerton along with a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Ellis County Chapter of the Marine Corps League at https://mclelliscountydet1452.wildapricot.org/Donate .  There will be a memorial service at the Veterans Memorial Park at 2301 Ennis Parkway, Ennis, TX, September 12th at 10:00 am.  According to his wishes, his ashes will be laid to rest with his wife in Oklahoma at a private ceremony.
